New cloud-managed appliance with built-in PoE

Jul 12, 2021 5:12:12 PM / by OpenEye

OpenEye introduces the new MV-Series cloud-managed appliance, a compact and cost-effective cloud-managed video recording appliance with an optional integrated PoE switch. Models are available with 8 or 16-channel integrated PoE switch for single cable, plug-n-play installation, or customers can choose their own switch hardware and select the non-PoE model with dedicated camera NIC.

Optional Plug n' Play PoE

The MV plug n' play capability allows a single cable, direct to the recorder installation to start recording. The ability to remotely power cycle PoE ports eliminates the need to have a technician on-site for basic troubleshooting.

  Dedicated camera network port

The MV supports isolating the camera network on both PoE and non-       PoE models which keeps the cameras off the primary network, limiting exposure points and reducing overall vulnerability.

 Solid State OS drive

The OE-MV provides a reduced boot time and error reporting in the event of a storage drive failure.

 NDAA compliant

The MV is not impacted by the National Defense Authorization Act restricting installation or use by U.S. Government agencies.
