Gamewell-FCI is pleased to announce a new family of conventional power supplies called the PS Series. The new PS Series (codename: PowerStrike) addresses many of the changes within the fire alarm industry and allows you to be more competitive when it comes to your power supply needs.
The PS Series will be now offered in 10 Amp (with 3 inputs and 7 outputs) and 6 Amp (with 2 inputs and 5 outputs). It is UL 864 and UL1481 (Power Supplies for Fire Alarm Systems) listed.
Now offered in black and red cabinets, these power supplies feature many industry leading enhancements:
• Each output can be independently configured for either NAC, Door Holder or Auxiliary Power
• Fully configurable – Pair any input with any output(s)
• Eliminate the need to find the EOL on retrofits – Resistance matching between 2-27K ohms
• Save hours troubleshooting, no more guessing games.

o Trouble history
• Don’t cut your outputs in half when going Class-A. With optional Class A module (ZNAC-PS), maintain the same amount of outputs when going from Class B to Class A
• Make your power outputs intelligent – Mounting location for Multi-Mod or single module inside the cabinet to have outputs controlled by the fire alarm panel
• Now available in a black cabinet with removable door and 10 knockouts
• Syncs with System Sensor®, Wheelock®, Gentex® and Amseco® protocols
• Cascade up to 4 PS Series power supplies for continuous sync
• Up to 3 Amps per circuit – ideal for low frequency and sounder base runs
The current family of Power Supplies PHASE OUT –With the announcement of the new PS Series, we are phasing out our GFPS-6/9, HPF24S6/8, HPFF8, and other HPF supplies. The HPFF12, HPFF12CM, and HPFF8CM are not impacted and will continue to be available. Replacement boards for the GFPS-6/9 and HPF24S6/8 will be offered for the immediate future. See the table below for the list of new PS Series model numbers and existing model numbers for phase out. Products will be available to order with the last order date of June 1, 2021, or while supplies last.
